As a photographer, I'm always looking to add my own twist to my clients' ideas. However, this day I was able to just point and aim and watch this black woman's natural beauty. Sha'Rrona Curnell turned 39 years old and I asked her, "what is your recipe." She replied with one word, "confidence."
The Oxford dictionary definition of confidence is: the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust. The word is a noun. This means one can interchange her name with the word, confidence. Firm trust is a jewel we all would like to be gifted, however the truth is one must earn this gift.
As soon as this shoot was a wrap, I merely utter the words- 39 fine! Although this age is considered the uncounted year, it is the most important year before turning 40. It's a privilege to photograph 39 fine year olds!
